Warranties and Servicing
Routine servicing is typically done once
a year for occasional use, and twice a year for daily use. It Includes
lubrication of bearings, checking oil in the gear reducer, checking adjustments
such as the automatic stops at landings, safety systems, and proper operation
of the controls and mechanical systems. This typically takes two to three
hours. The installer or an elevator service company can do the work.
Accumar Corporation warranties each new Cable and Track Lift trams to be
free of defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from date of
completion, provided the Cable or Track Lift is operated under normal
conditions and in accordance with the instructions as stated in the Owner's
Manual. Both labor and materials are covered by this warranty when Accumar is
the installer of the system. Other warranties may apply if the system is
installed by another company. This warranty does not include cosmetics (such as
paint) or problems due to abuse, misuse, or neglect. Damage caused by natural
disturbances such as earthquakes, landslides, storms, lightning, or falling
trees is not covered by this warranty.
